Jay Z and Kanye West have totally taken over London this week with their Watch The Throne tour. Last night Rihanna was their special guest, she jumped on stage for 2 songs ‘All Of The Lights’ and ‘Run This Town’
We loved the black jumpsuit she was rocking, she just looks so cool and like one of the boys.

So Las Vegas has just been home to the Billboard Music Awards where we saw every star working the white carpet at the MGM Grand Garden.





Lets start with Taylor Swift, who’s fashion style has been under a lot of question recently, however, we have to say the young star is looking beautiful in a full length Ellie Saab with Neil Lane jewellery.





Whilst Katy Perry, this time decided to rock the purple hair, looking very mermaid-esk in Blumarine, not sure it’s a winning look, maybe just too much purple going on here with the hair, lips and shade of dress.

Carrie Underwood in Oscar De La Renta and Miley Cyrus in Jean Paul Gaultier could not have gone for more opposing looks, Carrie being the princess and Myliey much more structured and tailored. But our ‘Best Dressed’ award has to go to Alicia Keys!! Looking absolutely stunning in a very simple but very chic in a figure-hugging Azzedine Alaia Couture floor length gown and adding a touch of edge with Repossi rose-gold hooped earrings.

Ok, so we thought it was all going to get better for The Voice as BGT is now over but this weekend’s shows prove they’re still in trouble. Saturday night saw team Jessie and Team Danny battle it out for a place in the semi finals. There were technical difficulties to remind us it’s a ‘Live’ show, accidental swearing from overly excited Becki Hill and a few more funny one liners from Will made it rather mediocre compared to any other reality TV show. The most amusing thing of the night had to be Jessie’s Mickey Mouse hair do, with the zig zag parting! she still looks cute!!

The results show on Sunday stirred even more disappointment from viewers as judge Jessie tweeted a pic of her and the winners before the results were announced. Oh come on Jessie! Needless to say fans were not happy with the spoiler and took to twitter to express their anger. And to top it all off, Jessie sends home Toni Warne and Cassius Henry?? Saving loud mouthed Becki for the semi finals. Really? was she the best choice?

Team Danny didn’t surprise or impress much either, Max Milner was picked over Alex Josh and David Julien and we’re not sure how real the banter between Will and Danny is but it’s funny to watch him get worked up over Will’s ‘constructive criticism’. Paloma Faith’s performance of her new single ‘Picking up the pieces’ kept us from changing the channel and to summarize semi final contestants are Bo, Vince, Max and Becki. What did you think of the show? are you looking forward to the semi finals for all the wrong reasons?

We love little beauty Cheryl but we don’t love this dress on her. She is young sexy and pretty but this dress is far too old and sophisticated for her petite frame. Cheryl was in Cannes at the launch of French film Amour. She is in town for the week and kicked of her first dress by Stéphane Rolland Haute Couture earlier today. We think it looks good from the back but a no no from the front. Let’s hope the rest of the week gets better.

Did you guys know that Kim K is in London…no…we didn’t think so either! Haha so she has been spotted and papped all over town, so it’s only fair that we break down her style directly to you.
So far she’s kept to a very simple palette of neutrals or darks, simple hems and cuts and a little less bling….maybe she’s leaving that to Mr West himself?





Day 1 she headed to Radio 1 where we saw her in Versace’s white studded top, Lanvin skirt and Celine shoes, a very structural look, not normally Kim’s usual fit or look and maybe not her best.





Next we see her in a gorgeous Marchesa navy number at the FIFI Fragrance Awards, much better fitted to the white Versace, hugging her curves and waist, very flattering – of course, Kayne lookings as slik as ever (we’d better not leave him out).





And then also in another white look, this time Lanvin with one of our faves, Celine shoes, we like this look, very clean, not too much going on but with a little ’something’ with a statement shoe.


Of course we need to see a LBD in here somewhere….and its doesn’t get much better than Stella McCartney SS ‘12 collection. This is perfect for Kim and her body shape, sexy, sexy, sexy!

And then finally we see a spot of colour! Launching her perfume right here in London, Kim looks dazzling in a beautiful Valentino red lace and Tom Ford shoes…..what can we say? No one does red like Valentino and we’re so happy Tom Ford is back working on a women’s collection! Hot points from us for this look!!

Kat’s stylist tip = You don’t need to be in Lanvin or Celine to pull any of these looks off (although it would be nice), the knee length and maxi’s are everywhere on the high st right now; why not try Mango, Topshop and COS for ideas. Or if you have a little extra money saved up why not try BCBG, a perfect middle ground to designer from Max Azria himself!!

Dresses of day 3……Cannes Film Festival darlings! Not quite ticks in all the boxes on some of the dresses that we’ve seen here…..This is one of the most important times in the fashion calender so ladies have to get it right.








Here we have Naomi Watts in Marchesa and Jada Pinkett-Smith in Atelier Versace and both we’re not 100% sure on, the colour on Naomi is a little to pale and washing her skin tone out, whilst Jada normally looks incredible, we’re not sure this cut flatters her to the best of her shape.

On the other hand Diane Kruger in Jason Wu, Freida Pinto in Paco Rabanne and model Natasha Poly in Gucci seem to be pulling out all the stops!! We think Freida is doing so well, scoring points for her ‘best look’ over the past 3 days….will she put a foot wrong?

Wow so the party we all needed to be at last night, after Jay Z and Kanye West did an incredible show at London’s 02 they headed out with their celeb friends and label mates to celebrate a member of their teams Birthday. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow and husband Chris Martin joined Rihanna, Kim K who was next to Kanye all night and our very own Rita Ora was also there with new boy-friend Rob Kardashian into the early morning drinking and dancing at Dstrkt.

Well there you go proof that the 2 girls don’t hate each other. Last night both ladies attended Jay Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne show in London at the 02. Both girls are on the same label Roc-Nation so it would be very awkward if they didn’t get on. Rihanna as you can see from this pic gave Rita a big kiss. Rita tweeted the pic and put up this message
“@rihanna hatin a$$ biatch!!!! Mwah!!!!!!”
Hopefully Rita vs Rihanna can stop now. On a separate note Jigga and Yeezy shut down the 02 last night, no special guests or surprises. We loved the show.

Cheryl decided to support Chris Brown in a recent interview, she said, ‘I think it’s really kind of (Rihanna) actually. She’s come out and publicly forgiven him really.
I think it’s about time we all did if I’m completely honest, if you want my opinion. I work with people all the time with my charity that are transformed characters. They’ve done things when they were young that they regret, they’ve been to prison and they’re now upstanding members of the public and help our community and are amazing people.
I think because he’s in the limelight…he hasn’t had the chance to be forgiven or to forgive himself because we haven’t let him. Now that she’s come out and embraced him again, I think it’s time we all moved on. That guy is talented as hell.”

We attended the Men In Black premiere in London last week and have to say Will Smith was a total darling to all the press in fact he spent so much time with the fans and press that waiting celebs couldn’t get a chance to grab a photo. He even gave Max 2 kisses and a hug (which was lovely by the way)

So when we see this stupid Ukrainian TV wannabee Borat, Vitalii Sediuk in Moscow at the Men In Black 3 premiere acting a fool we feel angry for Will and would of probably done more then tap him… oops did we say that out loud!
Will is one of the few celebs that is not guarded but instead really friendly, so situations like this will only make him more hands off with people.
