NE-YO, TREY SONGZ AND CHIPMUNK LIVE IN LONDON REVIEW!

Last night I headed down to the 02 in London to watch the Ne-yo concert. The venue was packed with ladies, kids and music industry types.
Chipmunk opened the show with his DJ Ill, and got a great reaction when he performed ‘Champion’ and ‘Oopsy Daisy’ his set in my opinion should of been longer the crowd wanted more time with him that was obvious.
Next came the turn of Trey Songz, he had a full band and was dressed in all black. He totally killed it, every single person in the 02 at some point during his set was on their feet screaming and singing along with him.
Trey performed favourites likes ‘Bottoms Up’ Neighbours Know my Name’ LoveFaces’ ‘Say Aaah’ aswell as his own version of Kings Of Leon’s anthem ‘Use Somebody. He also did a bit of 50 Cent’s ‘In Da Club’ and Eminem/Rihanna’s ‘Love The Way You Lie’
When he finished his show you felt like you had just seen the main act, I can’t fault Trey on anything, his audience participation was on point and his on stage presence was 100 percent. This is the second time I have seen Trey Songz live and I have to say his voice is incredible I don’t think people really appreciate that, there he is so much more then a pretty face and six pack.

After a short break the main act Ne-yo took to the stage, rocking his trademark gentleman suit with a whole load of sexy female dancers. Ne-yo is one of the hottest R&B artists in the game without any doubt watching him run through hit after hit you realise how many smashes this guy has written, ‘Sexy Love’ ‘So Sick’ ‘Because Of You’ ‘Mad’ ‘Closer’ ‘Beautiful Monster’ and ‘Stay’.

The one thing I noticed on this Ne-yo show is how sexy it is and I don’t mean in a slight let’s be edgy way. Ne-yo had about 8 female dancers on stage with him dressed in their underwear for almost the entire show gyrating humping and simulating sex on him during certain tracks.

I looked around in the 02 and the kids that were there looked uncomfortable and I did think this isn’t an over 18 gig so really without sounding like an old women it was inappropriate. Further more Ne-yo is an incredible artist and doesn’t need to do all that. His show was sexier then Trey’s never thought I would say that. Aside from the chicks on the poles he did a good show.
Tonight Ne-yo, Trey Songz and Chipmunk will be at the 02 for a second night, if you are going let me know what you think of the concert.
